Due to continued growth, BL Shutters & Doors are recruiting for a Helpdesk Operator.


The Role


This maintenance planning support role will be administrational:

  • Managing engineer’s schedules
  • Tracking jobs ensuring all paperwork is submitted in correct format
  • Plan and organise PPMs to schedule
  • File pm sheets
  • Process jobs
  • Create daily report of job statuses



  • Previous experience within a maintenance business would be advantageous.
  • Possess relevant administration experience in a busy office environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone technique and communication skills
  • Proven ability to be flexible in approach to work and have an ability to carry out, where necessary other tasks essential to the smooth running of the department
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Salary & Hours

  • £8.50 - £10.50 p/hr depending on experience
  • 08.30– 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • Free Staff Parking
